A sanitarium is a
facility, usually located in a secluded area, preferably in the mountains, for
relaxation, rejuvenation,
and restoration of a
healthy, vibrant
lifestyle.
A center where guests become intelligent in regard to
disease, its causes, prevention, and use of
simple remedies.
The influence of the Spirit of God is the very best medicine for disease.
Teaching the guests that it is better to know how to keep well than how to cure disease.
Disease is an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the Laws of Health. In case of sickness, the cause should be ascertained. Unhealthful conditions should be changed, wrong habits corrected. Then nature is to be assisted in her effort to expel impurities and to re-establish right conditions in the system. MH 127
